Saw eagle leave nest
[L. Card] This set of 2 eggs purchased from a dealer in 1904 with attached data [S. Card] Nest in top of short-leaf pine between 4 limbs. Tree a dead one being struck by lightning situated in the edge of a swamp. Nest 101 ft. 6 inches from ground. Of sticks lined with moss, sedge and downy feathers from breast of bird. Nest about 3 feet across top and about 2 feet deep. A very small nest for an Eagle.
