But I guess they will come handy. I can get the club cook to cook them but do not rap it in a paper as we have generly done when sending things to John. I suppose mary is in Kingsville to attend the examination to-day. I wish her all the success immaginable! Hope she will get a paper good for the next five years as a reward for her dilligent attension to her books. How did she enjoy the social? I suppose H.H. Fifield came down from Cleveland on purpose to escort Miss Simons to the jollyty. I had begun to expect John here by this time and was really disappointed when you wrote the was at Ft. Sully yet. Last Wednesday was the day set apart for a gathering of the Studants of all the departments called the "University Day" The Literary department have voted for a College cap. How did you enjoy Thanksgiving? I enjoyed it hugely! My box came the night before! and the club set as good a table as I ever set down to. Fourteen students all at one table: 4 or 5 chckens and all other thing in proportion: It was jolly. Meals last week cost $2 01 7C cheeper than before. James.
