April, SUNDAY 3, 1864 Weather a little more pleasant this morning. about 9 o clock this AM got in readiness to march. and went (to H. Ferry and pitched our tents between the Lockwood house and the graveyard. Wrote a letter to Father. MONDAY 4. Commenced cleaning up our old campground. Commensed raining this PM. TUESDAY 5. Stormed all night. About an inch of snow on the ground in the morning. On guard in [Har]per's Ferry post at the armorers, C
