April, FRIDAY 15, 1864 The R.R. Bridge over the Potomac again repaired. Sent a box of blankets home by express. SATURDAY 16. Rained all day to day. The 34th.. picket relieved by the 18th Conn. Attended prayer-meeting this evening at the Lockwood House. Servises conducted by the Chaplain of 18th Conn. Received orders to march Sunday. SUNDAY 17. Cloudy this morning. Am now in readiness to march Very muddy. Left Harpers Ferry about 8 o'clock AM. and in company with the 16th.. & 123 Ohio regts; and the 1st.. Maryland Battery marched within 5 miles of Martinsburg.
