Sedalia Missouri Wensday Nov 20th.1861 Dear Sister as I have not written home for some time I concluded I had better write to day. the wether is beautiful and the health in the Camp is tolerably good the last letter that I wrote home was to henry when we was at Jefferson City I can not give you all the little particulars since we left there for it has been anage to me we have marched about three hundred miles since we left there we went to Springfield by the way of Syracuse and Warsaw then back to Sedalia in all the rounds I didnt see asecesh that I know of I saw agood many vacant houses and
