lively day it was I went out in the country and got alot of apples and the other boys of our tent got evry thing else that was good to eat and about eleven or twelve that night we took supper we had a regular feast of evryhing that was good purty near although it is against the law to be up after nine oclock but we didnt care for the law our tent was so smoked up that they could not see the light very far. and when ever we heard the officer coming around we would blow out the lights and keep sill untill he would get out of hearing and then we would make as much noise as we pleased again. I expect I might as well state
