so much before pay day and always get out before they know it they can get nearly every thing they want here though on time we can get boarding here in town for two dollars aweek and wait till pay day for their pay some of the boys are boarding that way but I wouldnt give five cents aweek for better board than we get here in Camp most of the time I have written nonsense enough for this time I have not tried to write anything of very great importance I will leave that for the editors to do they may write all the big news and I will write the balance: I have seen Secratary Cameron general Fremont and agreat many other great men since I have been to war. ------ well I will quit writing directly the last letter I got from home was from father he said you had heard from George I wrote aletter to him just afew days before I got fathers letter and sent it to Red Bluff but I have written to him since and made it all right. excuse poor writing bad spelling and lack of sense nothing more at present write as often as every once inawhile anyhow Oliver Boardman
