the 83rd Ind Regt. well the more the merrier. the more there is of us the sooner this dificulty will be settled my pen is so very poor I will have to quit writing. Mrs Saunders is here yet I expect she will stay here as long as we do Doc Ramsay was here afew days ago but didnt stay with us very long I guess he thought the mosquitoes had avery good appetite. and he didnt miss it far. but I dont know as they are much thicker here than they are on cedar and the weather not much warmer but enough for the present write soon Oliver Boardman Since I quit writing I got aletter from Henry it confirmed what I heard about his being asoldier
