but that hapened to be Hurlbuts Division instead of ours that let us out of that battle we done our running around after the evacuation of Corinth. you see this scouting is taken by turns each Regt each Brigade and each Division take their turn scouting the same as each individual in an Company takes their turn of standing guard &C. our Regt done a good deal of running around before we came here so we are taking along resting spell now. we have staid longer here than at any other Camp since we have been out we have been here three months and may be we will stay here till the war is ended (very doubtful.)
