Memphis Tenn Nov 18th../62 Dear Sister I came to the conclusion this morning that I would put off writing no longer I will give you no reasons for not writing oftener for I have none to give. I feel alittle ashamed of myself but will try and do better in future. since I wrote last. I have done some marching or scouting been on guard afew times drilled some and done nothing the rest of the time. I was over to the 83d. Ind Regt the other day and saw every body that I ever knew. I will give you the names of part of them I saw Zalmon Hawley, Howard Robinson, Bill Anderson, Frank Denison, Tom Wilson, Gus Swift, Sam Isgrig, little Jimmie and Thomas Fuller, Bill Kelly, Bill & Lon [Hock?], John Ranny,
