Camp 6th. Iowa Grand Junction Tenn Feb 11th. 1863 Dear Sister I am found once more writing home. I have not written for some because -- because I was too lazy and I am not going to write much this time or now because in looking over my accounts that is my notes of travels, I found that I was loosing all the first ones so I thought I had better set them down briefly and send them home for safe keeping, and for reference [line illegible at fold] They will be very interesting for you but you are perfectly welcome to read them if you want to and I don't know that they will ever be [ajudged?] consequentl w me, Still, I would alittle rather have them saved so as to keep run of things a little as they occur. What I have sent this time is nothing with what I am going to now that I have got it started once. I have been [pushing?] this job off this till I have but a great many little items but there enough left yet hereafter you may wait for a mail letter and lots of
