The 22nd. of Feb was not forgotten in this part of the Country. the Cannon belched pretty lively for awhile both here and at Lagrange. even to some of our boys in Camp got out their guns and fired afew National Salutes. though it Costs five dollars a shot for every shot asoldier fires on his own responsibility - Provided it can be found out who done it - Capt Saunders or what used to be Capt Saunders is here now he has been here two or three times since he resigned he is in the Cotten business. but I dont suppose thats any news and as I can think of nothing more I will say no more this time. I want you to take good care of yourself Henry. Write when you Can. I will do the same Oliver Boardman
