& have it credited on a note Butterfield has against him. I had endorsed on Butterfield's note all I got from Fuller & you tell B. how much you get of Fuller & have it endorsed. As to sending money to that man don't worry he don't know how much is collected or whether any at all. I want you to see whether I say I have used 23 - or whatever it is. After taking out any collecting fees or not. Try & get the run of it as well as you can. If Jones don't pay his balance I may have to do it, but I hope not. You might send that man 5 or 10.00 taking proof that you send it through the office. Make a note of it day & date and say that I am in the army & that it is not all collected that you will attend to it & remit as soon as possible & I must stop now & get ready for breakfast. I wish it was to Eat with you. My Diarrhea still runs, but Orange is at it & I guess will stop it yet. My trouble is how to send you money. I have 50.00 to send yet or more & no Express but will do as may be for the best. How I wish the thing was wound up & I at liberty once more. I'll send a few dollars in this & I wish you to say whether you got it as soon as possible. When you wish direct to me as on General Hospital Boat "Nashville" Care of Major Strawbridge. (without naming my Regiment or Company any more) Youngs Point, La to follow Boat. Well I have said all I have to say I believe and all I have time to write at least now my dear wife God bless you
