at noon and sheled them out and took 15 prisoners so we ad to march back to camp got there about 10 O clock pm and camped on the east side of the coldwater for the night 2 [do?] ordered to march at 6 am got ready and ordered to stack arms it was done to see how soon we could get ready 20 of our company ordered to go foraging it is raining hard to get some cattle went 4 miles south found plenty of cattle but could not get them out of the cane
