the tecumseh there have been Boats Loaded with souldiers all day going down the river they all say to vicksburg 26 wee are liing at the levey there is about 20 more boats loaded with souldiers ready to start I should think there is 14000 going on this expedition we started at noon 22 and ley up for the night at fryers point we start at 4 O clock am 23 35 steam boats in sight makeing
