4 bad news this morning the news is that a rebel ram came down the arcansas river and captured the blu wing steam boat with all the mail on board but there is 2 gun boats gon up the river to get it back again but I am afraid they wont get it we are all going up the river the whole fleet (Upside-down, at bottom of page:-) SUNDAY, December 23d, 1855.
