Maple Divinity 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. maple sirup 1 egg white 1/2 ts vanilla 1/2 c. water 1/4 cup chopped 1 ts. vinegar nuts or fruit Mix sugar, vinegar, sirup, and water, stir until sugar is dissolved, then boil without sitrring to the hard ball stage, or until it cracks. Remove from fire and pour over beaten egg white and beat until stiff enough to keep its shape. Add flavoring and nuts and drop by spoonfuls on oiled paper.
