53 Gooseberry Pudding Take a quart of green goseberries pick & scald them when drained rub them this a [illegible] [illegible] to [?] spoonfuls of pulp add 5 eggs 1/2 a lb of lf sugar 1/4 lb of butter melted & 4 oz of bread crumbs or biscuit mix all together & bake it with a paste round the dish Macaroni Mrs. Jibbetts The Macaroni to be soaked in cold milk too or three hours. Then boiled till tender Grate in some [illegible] cheese& let it all boil together for a short time Add a small piece of butter & some cayenne pepper. A little cream is a great [illegible] Put a little melted butter & some [illegible] of cheese on the top & brown it [last line and a half is illegible]
