Butter [?the] mould thoroughly lay in the mould after [illegible] [illegible] sponge + lalafia (?) cakes floured [illegible] orange marmalade [illegible] it noon bell. then beat two or three eggs [illegible] add sugar + [illegible] [illegible] third pour it over the pudding and let it [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] bout an hour + 1/2 [illegible] [illegible] some [illegible] for a plainer pudding [illegible] them slices of bread & [illegible] may be used.
