P. 1847 Curtis, it was dead when found. it is [supposed?] 1847 that he was driven by some heavy gale and 1847 entirely lost, this being the first whale that 1847 has been in our waters since the settlement 1847 of the country, it was upwards of sixty [feet?] 1847 in length, twelve feet across his eyes its [color?] 1847 is black on the Back and white in the [center?]
