34 Take Girkins rubb them with a coarse Cloth make a strong Brine of Salt that will Bear an Egg, Leave them in it three Days, take them out & put them in half & Water, take your pickling pan put Cabbage Leaves Bottom & Top, then take them off then on again, & so on you find they are Green, then take Long pepper & Mace & Boyl it in your Vinegar that is to be Continued on them. N.B. Kidney Beans are Done the same way
