40 & to your taste Butter your Cups Well fill them Half full Half an Hour Bakes them The Sauce White Wine Butter & Sugar NB. the Quantity will make half a Dozen. To Preserve Cucumbers Equal to any India Sweetmeat. Take fine young Girkins of 2 or 3 Different Sizes Put them into a Stone jarr Cover them Well with Vine Leaves fill the Jarr with Spring Water Cover it Close Let it Stand Close to the Fire so as to be quite Warm for ten Days or a fortnight then take them out & throw them.
