52 A Purging Electuary Take lenitive Electuary four ounces, Jalap in powder two drams, rubarb one dram, Nitre one dram and half, mix and take a tea spoonful night and morning - or two at night - A Calomel Purge for Children Take two grains of calomel and two grains of Rubarb mix it in Jelly and give it in the morning - Mince Pye's Take one pound of Beef, one pound of Suet, 3 pounds of Raisons and currants a Quarter of an ounce of mace, Do of Cloves Do of cinnmon & of nutmeg to your taste - with sweatmeats if you chuse it, put one glass of Brandy
