A Recipe for Worms. Take a dozen Earth worms, a red onion, a small bunch of Rue, two or three tops of leeks & a handful of Camomile, chop them altogether then pour them into an Earthen pipkin with half a pound of fresh Butter, let them stew about about a quarter of an hour, take about two large spoonfuls of it and sew it between a piece of fine Rug & pack every night to the Navel nine nights successively the above quantity is sufficient for three times then make fresh - N:B: this has cured Children that have been at Deaths door and Most every thing have been try'd in vain -
