Dr Andersons Receipt to pot Butter Take two parts common salt one part sugar, and one saltpetre, beat them up together and blend the whole cornpletely - Take one ounce of this composition to 16 ounces of Butter work it well into the mass of butter and close it up for use - Butter cured by this new method must not be opened for use until a month after its made up
