and seeds what you please, 20 Eggs, and some Rose =water [mad?] 8th To Pickle Oysters Take your Oysters & Liquor together, some white Wine & Water, the Juice of Lemons, Nutmegg, Cloves, Mace, & pepper, let them Stew till one half is done, then lay 'em on Cloaths in a cold Room, boil the Pickle let it stand all night to cool, Barrell them & stop them close 9th To make a Carraway Cake Take 1/2 Peck flour, 4 lb. Butter, rub it fine in the flour, [3 lb of?] Carraway Comfits, 1 lb. of Jourdon Almonds, blanch'd, [Slis?] them thin, a pound of Citron Scliced, one gram of Ambergrease, 2 pint of Sack, 4 Eggs, one quart of ale yeast, a pint of Warm Milk. Mix it all well together, Butter the Hoop, & lay [fafer?] paper under it, & let your Oven be very Ready before you Mix it put in your Almond, Carraway, and Citron when its mix't together then Bake it 10th To make Sack Possett To one gallon of Milk, put one penny Loaf, 8 or 12 Eggs, one pint of Wine, One Nutmegg, half a Quarter of a oz. of Cinnamon or one pint & half of Wine to a gallon 11th To [text missing]
