your oysters wt a little pepper, grate some bread & sift it through a Cullender, fry your Crumbs dry wt Butter lay them over your Oysters, then lay your Shells over a grindiron over a slow fire, and let them boil while thoroughly hott 37th To make a Whipt Syllabub Take a pint of Thick Cream, a pint of Sack, ye juice of a Lemon and put in there peal, ye white of two Eggs, sweeten it to your Tast, put it into a Deep pott whip it with a Burch Rod & as the froth rises fill up your Glasses 38th To make an Almond Florendine Take 4 dyet Roles, a Quart of Cream ye yolk of 8 Eggs 1 lb of Sugar 1 1/2 lb of Butter, mix together, and when the Butter is Mix'd as Small as your flour then take 7 lb of Treakle & 1 pint of milk, mix the Milk and Treakle together, then Mingle them well together & work it till it will cut & then make it into Cakes, or what you will & when its baked wash it with whites of Eggs well beaten 39 To make Gingerbread/another sort/with Treakle Take one Peck flour, 6 oz Carraway seed, 8 oz Ginger, 1 lb Sugar 1 1/2 lb Butter, mix them altogether, & when the Butter is mix'd
