Poultice for Scalds Burns on where mortification is expected small & finely powdered charcoal equal quantities a litle rye meal after the poultice is made add [emptins?] sufficient to rise it Turpeth Mineral good in obstinate cases of clinic Cutaneous Wash No 1 Winter green 1 lb water 3 parts full boil siz hours strain & boil down to 3 quarts pour in while hot from 1/2 to 1 lb of brimstone when cold add 1 qt of Holland gin used in all cutaneous diseases to [ol smks?] & wash For Swolled Breasts Bitter sweet ointment with camphor sprinkled on gum arabic an exelent wash for sore nipples For Soar Nipples White precipitant 1 Dr Corrosive Rub 10 gr Lead 3 oz Smith
