Almond Biscuits 1 lb of flour, 1 lb of lump sugar, 1/2 lb of butter, 4 oz sweet almonds, 2 oz bitter, 6 eggs, & some spices. The almonds to be blanched, & chopped fine, the sugar pounded & mixed well in with the flour. The yolks & whites of the eggs, to be beaten separately until of a thick consistency. The paste to be dropped on tins and well baked.
