this cream 2 or 3 days before wanted as it will not spoil. A little cochineal improves the colour. To make this cream turn out in a shape, take the whites of 4 eggs. 3 oz of sugar jam & jelly - beat them up for a half an hour. then add half an ounce of isinglass dissolved in water - & heat before the fire for twenty minutes longer. Put in a china mould - as tin is apt to change the colour.
