Pecan Sticks Beat 2 eggs slightly & add gradually 1 C - brown sugar 1/2 C of flour sifted with 1/4 t. B.P. & 1/3 t salt. Add also 1 C of pecan meats, broken small pieces spread out in a shallow pan & bake in a moderate oven. Ginger Bread 1/2 C butter put lard & little salt 1/2 C sugar - in 1/2 C. molasses 1/2 t ginger - 1 egg not beaten 1/2 t cinnamon a sprinkle of cloves 1/2 t soda in 1/2 C warm water and about 1 1/2 C. flour.
