Peach Downside up Cake 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed in cup) 1 No. 2 1/2 can peaches in halves 3 eggs 1/2 cup peach juice 1 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal Flour 1 tsp. B. Powder 1/2 teas. salt Melt butter in pan over low flame. Remove from stove sprinkle in brown sugar Arrange peach halves in 3 rows This uses 9 peaches 9 servings Beat egg yolks until light lemon colored, beat in sugar Beat until smooth Beat in peach juice and vanilla Add dry ingredients Fold in egg whites Pour over peaches Bake 50 to 60 minutes in 350 degree oven
