Nice Sugar Gingerbread - Mrs. M Coffins rule 1 1/2 lbs flour 1 do do sugar 3/4 do - butter Six eggs Ginger as you like Buns - (Mrs Wells) 1 1/2 cups of butter 2 do of sugar 2 do of milk One of yeast Add a little nutmeg and flour for a thin batter Next morning add more flour and roll it out, put it into pan to rise (add a little Saleratus) Cream Cake 1 cup of cream, 1 do sugar, 2 cups flour, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoonful of saleratus, flavor with lemon.
