For a Jacket - (Polka Jacket from Miss Emily ([illegible] Cast on 288 stiches for the frills - Narrow to 120 for the waist. After knitting 24 ribs, leave the back taking 25 stiches for each of the fronts Then widen every time on the right side for 20 ribs, or until you have 41 stiches on your needle. Then commense narrowing every time on right side for 26 ribs, or until you have 16 stiches on your needle. For the neck, join all on one needle. For the back - after knitting 24 ribs with the fronts, knit 20 ribs straight, seperately, for the sleeve. Then narrow every time on the right side for 26 ribs, or until you have 23 stiches, on your needles. - For Collar Cast on 71 stiches - knit 4 ribs of white and four of coloured wanted. - For border, knit six ribs - For sleeves cast on 53 stiches - knit 22 ribs, then narrow every tie on the right side for 26 ribs
