Remedy for Croup This simply molasses & Saleratus. For a child of five years, give a half teaspoonful of Saleratus stirred in a tablespoonful of Molasses. half the quantity to an infant. - Increase or decrease the quantity according to the age of the child. - In familes subject to this complaint this remedy will prove a blessing. - To Cure Warts Dissolve as much common washing soda as the water will take up - then wash the hands or warts with this, for a minute or two, & allow them to dry without being wiped. - This repeated will gradually destroy the most irritable warts. Knitting stich with hole in it - Knit the first stich, put the thread over, Slip off the next stich without knitting it then knit two plain & put the one that was not knit over the two.
