Apple Ginger. 4 lbs Apple chopped fine. 4 lbs. Sugar grated rind + juice of 3 lemons 2 oz. white ginger root chopped. Cook six hours, stirring often. Salad Dressing 1/2 cup vinegar 1/2 teaspoonful mustard 1/2 teaspoonful salt. 1/4 Cup butter 2 Tea Spoonfuls sugar. Cook 5 minutes Pour above hot over one beaten Egg.
