some water & change 1 tsp. turmeric 4 cups sugar 4 tsp. celery seed 1 cup mustard 1 small cup flour 2 qt. vinegar Pour this mixture over cucumbers and let come to a boil. Mother. Sweet Sour Pickles 1 cup salt. Pour boiling over pickles over night then throw off & put more salt & hot water over 1 day & 1 night. Then boil 2 cups vinegar, 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar & mixed spices & put in jars & seal Mrs.Hennig Dill Pickles soak pickles over night in salt water take out of water and wipe dry pack in jars add dill grape or cherry leaves boil 1 gal. water 2 cup cider viengar 1 cup salt when cold pour over pickles use this reciept Ice ciderpickle page 68
