78 Beef Loaf 1 lb. round steak, 1/2 lb pork chopped 2 onions chopped fine, 2 eggs beaten 3 slices dry bread soaked in cold water mix all to gether then add salt & pepper to taste form into loaf, bake 3/4 hr in a moderate oven. Beef Loaf. Fruit salad Meat balls Mrs. [Osterford?] 1 # veal or beef 1 # pork grind. 2 table spoon raw rice. 2 tesp salt. pinch pepper. boil. 1 can tomatoes 1 can cold water 1 green pepper chopped bring to a boil drop in meat balls. simmer for 2 hrs. thicken with flour.
