89 Hand Lotion. 1/4 oz Gum Fragacanth 2 oz. alcohol 1 " glycerine 1 " witch hazel a little perfume Soak gum in one pt of soft water for 24 hours then add to above Mrs. J. Hittelson Washing Compound 1 oz. salt tartar 2 oz. dry amonia 5 cents borax 1 can lye Mix in one gal. of soft water. Use one cup to a boiler of clothes Apeol Ergot Alawine
