1 1/2 c Johnson Graham crackers coarsely crushed 1 c B sugar 1 1/2 c. flour 1 t soda 1/4 t salt 3/4 shortening add all ingredients mix as pie crust put 1/2 on bottom and then date filling then the remainder on top bake at 375 for 30 to 35 min. Filling 1/2 # dates 1/2 c. honey 2/3 c. water cook until thick then add vanilla you can use fig prunes or [Els.?] but if you do add a little lemon juice
