Fruit Cake 2 c sugar 1 c shortening 4 eggs 1 c. S milk 2 Tes B. P. 1 Tes Lemon juice 2 1/2 c flour, a little more 1 c white raisens 1 c nuts 1 c cononut 1 c dates 1 c candied cherries 3 slices pineapple 2 T. Liquor or wine mary Olson receipt got it from Mary Dec. 6 1947 Sour Cream Cake 1 c sugar 1 egg 1/2 c butter 1/2 c sour cream 1/2 tes soda flour, about 1 1/2 c. Bannana Bread 1 c sugar 1/2 c Shortening 3 Ban 3 T sour milk 2 Scant cup flour 1 tes soda in flour 2 egg well beaten crush ban with fork add sugar & butter cream well add sour milk and flour adding eggs last let stand 20 m bake in mod oven 350 about 1 hr Marg [illegible] Aug 4 - 45
