Dersert mer. Cake. 1/2 c. shortening 1 c sugar cream 2 eggs 1/4 tes salt 2 cups flour cake 3/4 cups milk 3 tes B.P. 1 tes. vanilla Mer 2 egg whites 4 T. sugar white 1/4 tes vanilla Put cake batter in cake tins and spread mer. on top of each layer. then sprinkle 1/4 cup salt nut meats on each then bake and serve with whipped cream.
