1. All-Bran Muffins 2 tbs. shortening 3/4 c. milk (1/3 c. with syrup) 1/4 cup sugar (or 1/2 cup corn syrup) 1 c. flour 1 egg 1/2 teas. salt 1 c. Kellog's All-Bran 2 1/2 teas. b. powder. Blend shortening and sugar, add egg, all-bran and milk. Add baking-powder, salt and flour sifted to-gether. Bake in muffin pans about 30 minutes at 400° F. makes 8 or more muffins. Raisins or prunes may be added if liked. 1/2 cup chopped and added to dry ingredients.
