[Sand tarts?] lb. of flour, 1 3/4 lbs of butter, 4 eggs 1 lb of sugar, mix the butter & sugar together, add the eggs alternately with the flour, roll out and cut in small cakes, washing the with the whites of two eggs sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over them before baking Buff cake 2 cupfuls of sugar, 1 of butter 1 of milk [illegible] 3 cups of flour 3 eggs, 1 [illegible] ful of Soda in the milk. 2 of [cream of?] tartar in the flour [illegible] of lemon [illeiglbe] 3 teaspoons of Baking powder instead of Soda & cream tartar [Taylor?] Cakes 3 lbs. of lour, 3/4 lb. of butter [3/4?] lbs sugar 1 qt of Molasses, 1 pt of [illegible] 8 eggs 2 oz of Soda put [illegible] and [illegible] in the flour. 1 tablespoonful of cinnamon mix [illegible] together and drop in tins [bake?] [illegible] [illeiglbe] cakes 1 lb of sugar 1 lb of nuts [illegible] fine, 1 teaspoonful of [illegible] of [six?] eggs beat to froth mix the sugar and eggs together, th [add?] nuts and flour, drop in tins
