Variety Cake 1 1/2 cups of sugar, 1/2 cup of butter 1/2 cup of milk 2 cups of flour, 4 eggs 1 teaspoonful of cream of tartar 1/2 teaspoonful of soda To 1/3 of the mixture add 1/2 teaspoonful of cloves & 1 of cinnamon, 1/2 cup of chopped raisins & a little nutmeg. Bake in 3 pans and put to gether with frosting. A B Bonebrake Ice Cream Cake 1 lb of sugar, 3/4 cups of butter 1 cup of sweet milk, 1 cup corn starch, 2 cups of flour 3 teaspoonful Baking powder whites of 8 eggs.
