Molasses crackers 1 pt of N.O. molasses. 1/2 pt of melted lard. Small teaspoonful Soda in molasses - good teaspoonful Salt - make stiff enough to roll. good Aunt Tilly Yeast for baking. 2 qts of water 2 cups of hops to be boiled down one third to be poured over 2 1/2 cups of flour 1 cup of brown sugar - 2 tablespoonsful Salt - 5 good sized potatoes well mashed - when cold add one cup of yeast
