1842. Woods Baken (U.S.C. Survey) Died Sept. 7 1852 Reg. [page 1?] Bread Pudding 3 pts milk, 3 eggs, 1 nutmeg Cut several slices of bread butter them on each side. soak them in milk and lay them on the lip of the mixture in the dish you will bake it in. Biscuit [Pounded?] 1 qt of flour 1 table-spoonful lard 1 tea-spoonful salt Milk or cream or water to make a stiff dough.
