Cake Cup 2 cups of sugar 3 cups of flour whites of 10 eggs 1 tea-spoonful (level) cream tartar, 1/2 tea-spoonful soda (small) the cream of tartar should be a heaped spoonful and a small spoonful or 1/2 spoonful of soda. Another Cup Cake 1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 3 cups flour 4 eggs 1 small tea-spoonful soda 2 tea-spoonfuls cream tartar 1 cup sweet milk Cure for [Croup?] To one half cup molasses add a tea-spoonful of soda or saleratus, beat it to a white froth give a spoonful every few minutes
