30 Custard Pie (White House - Coolidge) 3/4 cup sugar 1 rounding tablespoonful flour pinch of salt 2 eggs beaten 2 1/2 cups milk (cocoanut if desired/(also vanilla) Mix sugar and flour and salt. Mix eggs and milk and add to sugar etc. Pour into pie plate lined with thin layer pie crust not previously baked. Bake until custard is set. (Knife comes out clean.) 450 for ten minutes slower oven for rest of time (about an hour)
