Monday March 4th, 1878 It was real pleasant. I did the washing and finished it all up by noon. I took my work and spent the afternoon over to Folsoms. Mrs F_ is sick with sore throat. I helped get the supper work done and knit all the evening. Tuesday March 5th 1878 I helped do the work and sewed on the sheets what time I had. Mother was gone to town till we got supper ready. I knit in the evening. Wednesday March 6th 1878 I ironed all the forenoon and sewed in the afternoon. Mother was to town again all the afternoon We girls had supper ready when she got home. I had a letter from Lizzie Lindley Thursday March 7th, 1878 We girls helped do the work in the forenoon and in the afternoon went to town to make calls. We were at Wins, Mrs Williams, Pinneys and Mrs Hands. We did a little shopping. Hatt got
